Vince Edge was born on June 25, 1969 in Mobile, Alabama and raised in Dothan, Alabama. Upon graduation from Northview High School, he attended the University of Alabama where he graduated with a B.S. in accounting in 1992.

Vince attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. As a freshman at Cumberland, Vince received the best paper award in Criminal Law and Evidence. Vince was an Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review and the author of a published case note, "Detainee Not Under Arrest Has No Reasonable Expectation of Privacy in the Back Seat of a Police Car," 29 CUMB. L. REV. 147. Vince graduated from Cumberland in 1995, magna cum laude, with a final class ranking of 10 of 191.

After law school, Vince joined a Birmingham law firm where he practiced in the areas of health care, corporations, and consumer finance litigation. In February 1997, Vince returned to Dothan to join the firm of Farmer, Price, Hornsby & Weatherford. Vince’s practice primarily consisted of business transactions, corporations, real estate, and civil litigation, with a concentration on the areas of commercial and business disputes.

On January 1, 2007, Vince assumed the role of President of Wiregrass Foundation, where he oversaw the foundation’s charitable investments in Dothan and the surrounding area until August, 2010.

Upon leaving Wiregrass Foundation, Vince attended the University of Florida where he graduated with an LL.M. in Taxation in May 2011.

After tax school, Vince joined Johnston, Hinesley, Flowers, Clenney & Turner, P.C.

Vince has extensive experience in all types of real estate transactions, including commercial and industrial development projects; provides counseling for all aspects of real estate transactions from negotiation of the sale or purchase, through the development, financing and leasing of the project to its management; provides expertise in forming and representing corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships; advises and counsels clients in a wide variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions; counsels individuals and families in estate planning matters, including drafting of wills and trusts, probating wills, administering decedents’ estates and asset management and preservation; and represents clients in state and federal tax controversies in administrative and judicial forums, including the United States Tax Court.
