Mr. Turner joined the firm in 2001. He holds a J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law and an LL.M. in taxation from University of Florida. He is licensed to practice law in the States of Alabama and Florida.
During his years at Cumberland School of Law, Mr. Turner was a member of the Cumberland Law Review, and while at the University of Florida, he was a graduate editor of the Florida Tax Review.
Mr. Turner’s practice encompasses a broad range of practice areas, and he provides expertise in the formation and organization of business entities and in business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and reorganizations. He also has extensive experience in representing both lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions and also representing clients in real estate transactions, both commercial and residential.
Mr. Turner also provides expertise and advises clients in estate planning, including the drafting of wills and trusts, estate probate, and the administration of estates and trusts. He regularly represents clients in tax matters, including income tax and estate tax planning for individuals and business entities, and tax litigation in both federal and state tax controversies.
